Sounds Germany (1968 - 1983)

Legendary German music magazine

The german Sounds magazine was published as an independent music magazine from 1968 to 1983. Later it was integrated into the German music magazine Musik-Express, where it then disappeared over time. Sounds started as a specialist magazine for jazz music. Over time, in the 1970s, Sounds devoted himself increasingly to progressive music and also very much to reggae and its culture. With the emergence of punk, the content then went over to the new wave era at the beginning of the 80s.
