The German rock magazine Visions began as a fanzine in 1989. It has been published as a regular magazine since 1991. In terms of content, the focus is on rock music from the alternative and independent genres. Other musical areas such as metal, punk, hardcore, Britpop etc. also receive sufficient attention. Since the late 1990s, almost every monthly issue has included a CD.
